Gelephu Thromde proudly organized and hosted its Annual Civil Service Award Ceremony on 15th December 2025, marking a significant occasion to honor and celebrate the dedication, loyalty, and achievements of its civil servants.
The ceremony was graced by Dasho Thrompon, accompanied by the Officiating Executive Secretary, Heads of Divisions, and School Principals. Together, they joined in recognizing the exemplary service of 54 civil servants, whose contributions have strengthened the institution and advanced the noble vision of the Royal Government.
I. Dedicated Civil Service Award
A total of 23 civil servants received the prestigious Dedicated Civil Service Medals, instituted by the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) under the Royal Command. These medals symbolize unwavering commitment to the Tsa-Wa-Sum (King, Country, and People).
- Lifetime Service Medal and certificate: 1 civil servant honored for lifelong dedication.
- Dedicated Service Medals and certificates (30/20/10 years): 22 civil servants recognized for their sustained service across decades.
II. Promotion Ceremony and Recognition of Outstanding Employees
In addition to service awards, Gelephu Thromde also acknowledged the professional growth and exceptional performance of its employees:
- Promotion Orders: Issued to 23 civil servants, including 10 P1 Specialists and 13 Broadband employees, marking their advancement to higher responsibilities.
- Outstanding Performance Certificates: Presented to 7 civil servants for their remarkable contributions and achievements in their respective fields.
